Chipkos Protects +1 Million sq ft of Rain Forest

In the first week since Chipkos switched their ecommerce provider to Shopify, they've protected 1 million square feet of endangered rain forest. To put that in perspective, that's just under 20 football fields. 

Chipkos is an eco friendly footwear company that has gained tons of media attention by protecting one hundred square feet of rainforest for every product they sell. Their most popular product is their sandal line that are all manufactured with environmentally sound practices and materials. Their current conservation efforts are primarily in Costa Rica.

Priya Dua, the founder of Chipkos, has an ambitious goal: To conserve 100,000,000 square feet of endangered rain forest for the protection and preservation of land, species, and natural resources.
